Of course, it makes sense to recognize your customers as covered but it is also important to reward them for investing their time with you just as you do with your own employees. Find ways to give them more benefit than they expect from your site.
Show your appreciation for their visits. Recommend ways that you might make life easier for them and listen to their suggestions. When they give you permission, promote their suggestions to their peers and recognize that this was their idea. Peer recognition is one of the most powerful motivators of any rewards program. That badge of honor will do wonders for customer appreciation.
